...Exactly the same. Well, there are some noticable changes.
    Now it DOES suck.

They changed the underscore and now it has this funcky sound that is wildly unfitting and unappropriate.

I liked the old one better.

What happened to Chattaway? It sounds like MV got ahold of him.
Not anything like the good score he did for "Vanishing Point"

Not sure I understand what you mean, Justin. What's MV got to do with Jay Chattaway?

And yes, I agree, the new version of the Enterprise theme song definitely sucks. Sure do wish they'd hire Brian Tyler to write a theme.

I meant it sound like Media Ventures (I speak not of the few composers from that complex that I am thinking about here) got ahold of Chattaway. The sound was just so blah and electronic, but not in a good way. Not saying it was bad though.

    And the show seemed different.

I didnt' buy into Archer's "anger" and using the airlock sequence. It might have worked later on in the season. There and with a disconnected feel about the Earth attack it just felt forced and annoying. And the alien he put in the lock was even worse. Might be the cator's fault.

Yeah, thanks for that valuable contribution, Bri. It really furthers the topic here.

Justin, I don't think the new version of the song was electronic - it was simply revamped with a new, more up-tempo percussion track and heavier use of the electronic guitar. That is, if I recall correctly. I used to enjoy watching the main title sequence. Now I get up and do dishes or something while it's on.

Why Crono? So Berman can fu(k-up Voyager more than it already was and make null Goldsmith's Main Title for a song?

I'm sure with his new-found confidence in "songs" for Trek main title sequences, he'd hire someone like Lara Fabian to sing a lyrical accompaniment to Goldsmith's tune. Oh, and let's not forget the cheesy backbeat. ...wait, Joel already did that.

Berman would have Bill withers sing a new rendition of "Rocket Man" for Voyager.

And the highlight of season 8 would be the overuse of TNG characters.

Star Trek spin offs should be outlawed.
