Please, I need to find out what's the music playing in this file:
    http://www.angelfire.com/moon/alessandra1/angel2.wav

I know that the quality isn't the best, but I trust on your wise ears.

    Thanks!

Oorff's Carmina Burina, the William Orbit remix? I really can't tell. Where did you find this?

It's music used in a tv commercial for the "Angel" series (FOX). That's all the information I have.

Sounds like a clip from last season's Angel best I can tell. It is original music written for the episode I think. They rarely use outside music and it is usally a band or alternative artist if they do - which this does not sound like.

    Felipe,

I hope you continue to post here. We need more fresh, young blood, especially from Latin America who can not only discuss American film and television music, but can let us know about Latin film music and composers.

Thanks, I'll try to be back more often. There's a new film here in Chile that has one of the biggest budgets in the history of our cinema: "Sub-Terra". The score is written by Horacio Salinas and apparently is very good. There's a nice music clip on the official website:
    http://www.sub-terra.cl/audio/51.mp3

Check it and tell me what do you think. It's not common to hear orchestral music in our films. Budgets usually aren't very generous with the composers.

I have new information: It's probably music written by Howard Shore. I haven't listened "Looking For Richard", but maybe it's from it.

Please help me with this clip, it's driving me crazy!

    Hmm...

Well, it's definitely not from Looking for Richard. My guess would be that it's original music written to sound like Carmina Burana or a Lord of the Rings choral cue. Richard Band used to compose music for a bunch of Buffy TV spots, but I don't know if he's still involved in that (or if he ever did any TV spots for Angel in the first place).

This is all just speculation, though. All I can tell you for certain is that it's not "Looking for Richard" (though that is a great score).
