With a title like that, Chicken Little would be a comedy/children's movie I presume? Leaving Debney in that crummy category.Unless Scouts is an adventure film, Robert Folk is most likely stuck in the same 'family movie'/comedy bag as Debney.
I am looking forward to the two William Ross scores which should be good without being exceptional.
As long as Ladder 49 isn't temp-tracked with Backdraft. Now this:

* Starship Troopers 2: Williamt T Stromberg/John MorganNow that's exciting. Hope the movie has enough of a budget to hire an orchestra.

My sentiments exactly dinko, sounds like starship toopers is going to be a direct to video release. Also, why oh why is Robert Rodriguez doing the music for the el mariachi sequel "once Upon A Time In Mexico". I mean, the man does just about everything aside from act and fix coffee on the set for his films. Part of me thinks it's cool, the other part thinks he should not be so selfish and hire a professional composer. Lets just hope the score wont be a mixture of techno and flamenco guitar as heard in the trailer.Rich

"This is a feature written and directed by Jonathan Betuel; and will be produced by Jonathan Betuel, Fred Fuchs and Robert Folk. The tone of the picture is somewhat like E.T. It is a family picture centering around a boy whose dog dies. The boy and a quirky neighbor build a replacement dog using spare parts in the garage. They design a chip for the mechanical dog which enables the dog to gradually learn to behave like a real live dog. The musical score will be recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra."

But didn't they do that in a movie called Frankenweenie?

Alright. I'm already imagining the tidal sand wave accompanied by a grand heroic JNH theme (drool...) Ah yes, life is good

Folk's actually one of the film's producers? That's unusual - maybe even a first.
Maybe I'll start another topic: What Would A Film Be Like If Jerry Goldsmith Wrote and Directed It?.

Regarding the list at the top of this topic (which I'm not going to cut and paste or quote in full) - much as I'd like to see score albums for all of them (well, most of them, anyway), I also hope it doesn't happen because I'll never be able to afford half of them.
