1962 was a busy year for Henry Mancini, having scored the thriller
EXPERIMENT IN TERROR, the drama THE DAYS OF WINE AND ROSES, the African
Adventure HATARI! and the lighthearted comedy MR. HOBBS TAKES A
VACATION, starring James Stewart and Maureen O'Hara. HOBBS became 20th Century Fox's second most profitable film of that year. And yet, no soundtrack was ever released.

Here, presented for the first time in the INTRADA Special Collection, is
Mancini's complete score in stereo, featuring a catchy main title,
bright teen dance numbers, lush background scoring, and a duet between
singer Fabian and actress Lauri Peters ("Cream Puff"). It's classic 60s Mancini, and you heard it here first. At least for the first time away from the film.
