Premature, unrecorded and still a project, but skip over to the Chandos Records forum and you can read this little bit from the Chandos 'moderator':quote:

I notice that on the 16th August at the BBC Proms Rumon Gamba is conducting the BBC Concert Orchestra in a programme entitled "Great British Film Music".The programme includes:
Oliver Twist - Bax
The Cruel Sea (themes) - Rawsthorne
The Belles of St Trinian’s "comedy suite" - Arnold
Things To Come - Bliss+ "music by leading living British film composers Sir Richard Rodney Bennett and John Barry"
Maybe this gives us an idea of what the Chandos disc may include?
