The news release for these DVD's state that there will be score tracks on some of the cartoons:

The cartoons with music-only tracks are:

    "Rabbit Seasoning"
    "What's Up, Doc?"
    "Rabbit's Kin"
    "Duck Amuck"
    "Dripalong Daffy"
    "The Scarlet Pumpernickel"
    "Rabbit Fire"
    "Baton Bunny"
    "Feed the Kitty"
    "Putty Tat Trouble"
    "Broken Leghorn"
    "Speedy Gonzales"

    Cool!! Carl Stalling tunes!!

    Where's "What's Opera Doc"?

Some of the best Chuck Jones bits are pretty much all score, anyway, with the exception of a few sound effects (i.e., a bomb exploding, or cannon firing....) Good stuff--amazing arrangments by Carl Stalling in those old WBs.

I read it and I still can't believe it.

I hope to God that Warner Bros. Records puts out more "Carl Stalling Project" CDs. I own the first two, and they are fine representations of one of the most underrated composers in music history.

Edit: Lancelot - "What's Opera, Doc?" - the whole soundtrack - is on "That's All Folks!", a collection of the musical numbers in Warner Bros. cartoons. I don't have it myself, but I hear it's great.

This rocks. Ya know, the only other guy who does Carl Stalling as well as Carl Stalling does Carl Stalling is, well, Bruce Broughton. Why isn't he scoring Looney Tunes: Back in Action? ----- aside from the fact Dante always works with Maestro Jerry? Not to say that Jerry won't do a fine job...
