If you are even midly interested in video game music I suggest that you check the scores of Nobou Ematsu. He is the composer of the Final Fantasy series of games which is as close to synth perfection as you can find
. In light of that remark, if you are going to chose one to purchase I recommend FFVII as a purchase to get acquainted with his music.
