Hi everybody!How are you?
Any big fans of Angelo Badalamenti out there? I bet there are quite a lot since he's one of the most interesting composers nowadays
I'm looking for three scores of the maestro; they are out of print or very rare to find. Anyone please help me?
- THE BEACH (I'm looking for the complete Badalamenti's score, NOT the cd with songs, which by the way is nice too
)- COUSINS (such a great romantic waltz as a main theme doesn't deserve to be out of print!)
- THE COMFORT OF STRANGERS (another jewel very rare to find...)

I am an amateur (VERY amateur) musician and I want to get a copy of the trumpet solo that Ted Danson plays in the movie "Cousins". I want it so bad I can taste it. If you have any ideas, please let me know.

ritapdx, I (the other Joan) helped Joan R. with her search for Cousins. Yes, that is a great trumpet solo. E mail me for help on this as you and I both live on the West Coast. Joan R. is in Spain. I think if you click on my name, you will find my e mail.

I believe I have all Badalamenti's output. Including the rarely known Booth & the Bad Angel album. Can't recommend Comfort of Strangers enough to folks.I had the pleasure of interviewing him too:http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/tg/feature/-/19827/026-1032890-7615238
