    Hello everybody!

I wonder if any of you have news of the "Waterland" soundtrack, by great composer Carter Burwell.

I've been looking for it for years and, strangely enough, seems there is no copy at all!

Could that be possible??? In my opinion it is a wonderful masterpice, lyrical and evocative... Just great

("Waterland" is a fantastic adaptation from the Graham Swift novel, with Jeremy Irons and Ethan Hawke... That is in case you didn't know; a few know about the soundtrack, but even fewer know about the film!!!).

Has anyone a clue? Or even better... Has anyone a copy of this soundtrack?

    Thanks and enjoy your week-end!!!

    Best wishes from Barcelona...

    Joan Ramon

just one of a few fine Burwell scores not to be released in any form.

Thank you very much for those links, pdcny2 and Bond1965!!!

What a extraordinary present to find this... That music is so beautiful!

Burwell had a wonderful idea giving us the oportunity to download that magnificent but not-published music from his web!

I find it very considerate towards his fans!

I even found the extraordinary theme from "Before the devil knows you're dead"...! I'm speechless

Thanks you very much again and have a nice day!

I do wish that a full record of this score had been released. Bill Condon, the director of Gods and Monsters even mentions how shocked he is that there was no album for it in the liner notes for the soundtrack of that film.
