Williams is supposed to be a baseball nut. Here he's shown about to throw the ceremonial first pitch at a recent RedSox game. What's really funny and charming about this pic is that even while relaxing at the ol' ball game Williams still wears a black turtleneck.

Looks like he's going to throw a change-up.

    That's a nice photo.

I read in the Boston Herald that he did a concert last Friday. It looked like he conducted quite a bit of his work plus a little Herrmann, among other things.

Damn me for not driving down there.

Wow!! That's exactly what I thought when I saw the picture, hehe, by the way he's holding the ball.

Cool, my two passions, the music of the maestro and baseball

Williams's choice of clothing isn't dictated as much by fashion as you may suspect, HAL: the East has had an unusually cool spring, and the temperature at Fenway with the wind blowing in off Boston Harbor was probably in the low- to mid-fifties.

Look everybody, perfpitch isn't just an expert in spelling and grammar, but he also possesses an amazing grasp of what New England weather is like!

JL, actually, we're all just idiots.

Because JW wears a lot of turtle necks in public (when he's not wearing the "Maestro tuxedo tails") does not mean he has a preference for turtle necks. Not at all.

In fact, the E! true Hollywood Story from the night this photo was snapped? It was "Turtle Neck Night" at Fenway... and if you were the lucky person with the number 020832 in your souvenir program book, your middle name was Towner and you happened to score Star Wars, why then, you were in luck. The 'Sox wanted you to throw the first pitch of the game. E! True Hollywood story.

Hmmm, maybe not. Maybe HAL was just so retarded like the rest of us, he simply forgot he could go to weather.com to get the weather conditions.... and instead came to moviemusic.com for a small dose of education.

    What.the.freak.ever.

    What a great picture!

Get over the turtleneck, guys...The only thing wrong with what the Maestro is wearing is that Boston RedSox hat!

Hey Guys, the reason the maestro always wears a black turtleneck is because a true creative genius like Williams doesn't need to be distracted by the constantly changing fashion trends allowing all his creative resources to be put into his music. Having to make fashion decisions is too trivial a concern for a guy like Williams and so a black turtleneck is his way of being A-fashionable...is there such a word?
    Anyway, thats my opinion!!
