Well I have 17 tracks for this unreleased soundtrack, I extracted them from the DVD menus, I downloaded some from the Jimdooley.com site, here is my unoficial listing (I created the names of some). 1- 7 Days 0:14+ 2- A Lot Of TV's 0:30* 3- 10pm 0:30* 4- The Led 0:28* 5- Samara's Crawl 0:30* 6- Aidan Sleeps 0:29= 7- End Credits 7:20* 8- We Set Her Free 0:30* 9- The Canoe 0:30* 10- Overboard 0:30+ 11- A Little Lighthouse Music 2.33+ 12- Under The Rug 1:21+ 13- In The Well 0:34+ 14- The Tub 1:44+ 15- Shelter Mountain Inn 1:25+ 16- The World Is Spinning perfomed by Daveigh Chase 0:43* 17- The World is Spinning Instrumental 0:38* + From Jim Dooley.com * DVD Extracted = From Hans-Zimmer.com
The total is: 16:79 It is short, but they're still some songs missing that I don't have (the time is estimated): Aidan and Rachel 0:38 Katie's Funeral 1:30 Rachel goes to Shelter 0:30 Strange VCR Numbers 0:30 Lighthouse 0:40 The Fly 0:25 Anna Morgan 4:00 He Watch The Tape 3:00 Katie's Drawings 0:40 Before you die 1:00 The Horse 2:00 Rachel visits Morgan House 1:00 Samara's Room 4:00 When Rachel is with Noah outside the cabin, to the scene at the next day are like 6:00 or more. The final soundtrack should be like 35 or 40 minutes. ----------------------------------------- All the titles are based on what happens on the movie, the songs I have all of them are mp3 quality really great, except the track Aidan Sleeps. Hope you enjoy this analisis of the soundtrack.

Aren't there only 3 tracks over at the website? (Overboard, Under the Rug and Lighthouse)And by the way, the highlight of the score - the End credits, are available at some French Hans Zimmer site (forgot the url), but in mono. Can't you rip those from the DVD?

There were like 8 tracks from Jim Dooley. Add that to some score from a promo of The Ring and you got yourself a nice little bundle.Bah! I don't want to hear anything about me talking about rips and such, entire threads are made and let go.

Yeah, the credits are 8 minutes long and fantastic! But it's actually not by Zimmer (according to my sources)... But a good piece of music!Clayton

Yeah...funny that the End Credits which contain most the most interesting music in the score are NOT by Zimmer. And yet HE is the one who didn't think the score should have a CD release. James

Is that true?, so who is the one that composed the end credits? In both trailers of the movie appears some music that is interesting too, is something of the trailer composed by Zimmer or Jim?

Beside the 3 tracks featured on the site, the majority of the tracks are FILLER and ambient build up, nothing exciting or medlodic to think that Hans would have wanted to do. With that said, I wouldn't mind seeing some form of CD for this score. But without the filler music

Probably was getting too many hits. The ftp site is password protected and I suspect that this was added after we all went there to try and find the extra tracks.Maybe they should take that as a hint that there is interest in this score and consider a release anyway.

LOL. My post was meant to be a joke; sorry I forgot the . And of course the FTP server is password protected! Why would we want people to just log in and take stuff?? (My mistake was leaving those extra MP3s up on the server after the links were taken down from Dooley's RING page. Bleh!) Trust me - they know there's interest in a release, but it's not gonna happen for now. They have their reasons. Dan

Dan, your sunglassed identity never ceases to amaze me with its vagueness. Now please answer the MediaVenturite's question to the best of your knowledge.osdia, "filler" is boring underscore noise which sounds like a long and pointless tibettan chant, except its usually someone sleeping on their keyboard, as a result they produce noises which are not very interesting and which serve no real musical purpose. These prolonged periods of "noise" act more like sound effects than music, enhancing the atmosphere of the movie. In other words, "filler" is music you would not want to listen to on CD. Sort of. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I did, Dinko. If you have a problem with it being a "vague" answer, maybe it's cause I don't know any more details? If you have such a need for more info, why don't YOU go find out instead of trying to play parent while Peter is away? Dan

Because I'm practicing for when I get a kid, and this is the perfect place to play parent.
