Nothing new *in* my collection, but the whole collection looks entirely new now that I've finally re-ordered it into the shelf (which took two hours at least). I actually managed to fit all my CDs and DVDs into the old shelf by putting a second row of CDs on each first one.

Annoyingly, I dropped some CDs while rearranging piles, and one actually broke into three pieces. I've had several broken jewel cases before, thanks to the cat dropping the CDs on the floor, but this is the first time ever that a CD broke for me. Luckily, it was just Maazel's lame recording of Dvorak's Slavonic Dances, but still...

    NP: Ben-Hur (Carl Davis)

Marian I have THREE cats, and they all like pulling the CDs off the shelf now and again. Jerry Goldsmith's PLANET OF THE APES is one of their favourite targets. One of the moggies even likes to "spray" my collection (although his bollox have been surgically removed), as if marking things as HIS. I tell him that if he has such good taste, he should refrain from first trying to smash the things. But he just looks at me.
