As I am boycotting [Unmentionable] and refusing to spend my money there, does anyone have any creative ideas on how I can still maintain my boycott, but still access the music? I suppose CDRs are a possibility... and in a way a form of poetic justice, given the culture of [Unmentionable].

Avie, this conundrum will likely appeal to you.

given the tenor of some of his posts in the Junkyard, I'd say "Bob Bowd"'s boycotting Film Score Monthly because they run their website as they see fit, not as bob Bowd sees fit.

I think this person'd rather steal from them than support their efforts to preserve great music.

I buy them. I spend money on them.
You make me a check, and I send them to you. That way you get them, but you support me (I hope you're not boycotting me too) instead of supporting FSM, while FSM still gets the $ for the releases¹.

Well, I'm not sure what the reason is, but I can assure you that we will be closing the doors at FSM immediately due to this news. I had no idea. We've weathered a lot of storms at FSM, but I think I can safely say this--we cannot, and will not, be able to continue our operation without the support of Oscar winner Bob Bowd...

    Hi Jeff:

Thank you for responding to my red herring. I was trying to determine the level of surveillance, over here, after a tip from Kevin. I guess I know.

I don't like CDRs. Besides... your booklets are excellent... and I would be less than happy without an original. I'll be getting mine from Craig Spaulding... thanks!

I suspect your response was as ironic, as mine.

    Dinko... Canuck, eh!
