    I got it today.
I feel that its really a mixed bag of tricks
6 of the tracks are from Classical composers, and The first and last track are songs. McNeely's score is a mix of orchestra and electronics, and has hints of Irish and Band music. I even caught it going for the "Eternal Father, Strong to Save" theme. There is no main theme that I can remember, but its not without melody. The mood of the music is very smooth and ethereal, and sounds like underwater exploration music.

It wasn't quite what I was expecting but, I think its interesting.

So Peter, I guess you're not allowed to listen to any of the CDs in your stock?

TimT, you guess right. The almighty god of soundtrack stores has a few commandments I must keep, and one of them is to not open stuff that is for sale. If I do, I will jinx the sales of the CD.... it's a very difficult thing, man.

Actually, I am trying to get some discussion going on movie music.

    PeterK,

Couldn't you just open up one, for personal use, and then sell it as a used CD?

Yeah....is this why you don't post sound clips anymore?

Now I get it. You've discovered that large discussions on a score, actually sell more copies rather than audio clips.
It makes sense! I've been suckered into buying CDs just because of the hype on the Message Boards a few times.

Don't retailers (aka PeterK) usually get promo copies they can use for making audio clips, etc. ?
