You haved to understand that Varese and FSM and Intrada, etc. often WANT to release many titles but for various reasons must wait - legal issues, or searches for proper master materials. They sometimes release what they CAN. I for one am thrilled that these older titles keep coming. I'm not planning to buy all of Varese's latest titles, and I sure would have loved for Townsend to have found the stereo multi-track masters of "Hawaii," but he released what he had. If he hadn't bothered, there would be NOTHING aside from the original LP.

Have patience, support these companies by purchasing what interests you (or take a risk and expand your horizons a bit) and they will keep pressing CDs. There are all kinds of wonderful things still to be released, including scores you might not even KNOW you want.

Next, Varese release only 4 Club CDs over a certain period of time. There's only a certain number of scores they're gonna do.

Quite frankly, I love getting surpised by their announcements. They love the music as much as we do, and if they feel it's worth putting out, then by all means, you should try it.

There is TONS of music out there -- not just Commando, Predator, and The Great Train Robbery. I for one, hope that Great Train Robbery gets a wide release, rather than a Club.

It's a shame to be a collector, isn't it? Greedy greedy greedy.
