Guys - especially those of you who are expressing disappointment - please remember you can't have everything all at once. Seems likely to me that titles like "Predator" and "Alien" will make it out eventually. You haved to understand that Varese and FSM and Intrada, etc. often WANT to release many titles but for various reasons must wait - legal issues, or searches for proper master materials. They sometimes release what they CAN. I for one am thrilled that these older titles keep coming. I'm not planning to buy all of Varese's latest titles, and I sure would have loved for Townsend to have found the stereo multi-track masters of "Hawaii," but he released what he had. If he hadn't bothered, there would be NOTHING aside from the original LP.
Have patience, support these companies by purchasing what interests you (or take a risk and expand your horizons a bit) and they will keep pressing CDs. There are all kinds of wonderful things still to be released, including scores you might not even KNOW you want.

they first way to show respect to varese is to get their head honcho's name spelled right. :-)
Next, Varese release only 4 Club CDs over a certain period of time. There's only a certain number of scores they're gonna do.Quite frankly, I love getting surpised by their announcements. They love the music as much as we do, and if they feel it's worth putting out, then by all means, you should try it.
There is TONS of music out there -- not just Commando, Predator, and The Great Train Robbery. I for one, hope that Great Train Robbery gets a wide release, rather than a Club.

Townsend was the guy in North by Northwest. Townson is the Varese guy.

One of the idiots is Ebay's "BUYSOUNDTRAX" and people here know who that is. The shipping fee is as high as Varese's fee, and it's not even for UPS tracking. Ripping off uninformed people is one way of making money. Not an admirable one, and since we know who "BUYSOUNDTRAX" is, I am not very shocked. No.
