Hey everyone,I was listening to my "COD" cd the other day and I noticed on track 1 at about 2:14/2:15 there is a digital pop...does anyone else have this or is my CD defective?

Just had a listen to it (without headphones) and I think that I can hear some sort of click. I have never noticed it (even with headphones) until you mentioned itBut now I'll hear it every time I listen to it. Luckily though it is during quite a loud piece of music.
I'll have a listen to it again this evening with headphones.

Brian,There is some noise at 2:15 into the track from what I can tell. But I had to listen to that cue closer than I have ever listened to anything before to hear it.Plus it took around 5 times for me to hear it.But unless I am nuts(which is a possibility anyway),I also heard some extremely faint noise there.

So does this mean it's a pressing issue? Will Varese re-issue new ones to fix the problem?

Here's a weird thought...I have a CD which has some really loud clicks and pops. At first I thought the CD was defective or my player was skipping for some reason. Then I listened more closely, and it turned out that the music is so close-miked that what sounded like digital pops turned out to be the valves/buttons that were pressed by the musician while playing his woodwind instrument.

Brian -- that isn't a "pop", that's an instrument clicking or orchestra "noise".If you listen to DARKNESS FALLS really hard, you can hear a chair move at the end of one of the big action tracks.

Well it doesn't sound like a "pop" to these ears. So perhaps you're just being... "anal"?Ryan

I hear chairs noises and instrument clicks in Signs. I can other wise look past it, but in the second cue that chair squeaking always throws me. Much like my late night typing.

on the FSM Take a Hard Ride album -- or maybe it's Monte Walsh, you can hear the guy playing the harmonica almost fall over. or that's what it sounds like anyway.
I'm playing Unfaithful right now, and there's more than little noise from the orchestra in this thing. I swear I hear the conductor's podium shift once or twice.oh well, the music supercedes all of it.
