Interestingly Amazon (US) have altered the release date of the X Men 2 score to May 6th.

Yeah, I e-mailed Superb about X2 not being in the ordering catalogue for stores (I tried to special order it but the store could not because it wasn’t entered). Here's what they said:

<<We are scheduled for an "official" release on May 6th (the first Tuesday after the
film opens) however, product should be in stores by next Tuesday the 29th.>>

'Tis all I have until the CD release.

Good to know, though I shant presume that goes for the UK date as well which remains to be Monday the 5th (which isn't too bad. Nice double with the Reloaded CD out the same day here)....

I am curious about Superb Records and it's background. In this current economy what group of entrepeneurs were brave enough to form a new record label?

X2 must have been a substantial monetary investment for them.

Well, it's "new" as of last year, and they've already put out a few soundtracks - all of them, notably, with 20th Century Fox.

Indeed! But let's hope it's an investment that pays off for them!
