I know there was a thread regarding Edward Zwick´s upcoming epic. It was said Zimmer is involved. Does anybody know the current status? Zimmer? Horner? Media Ventures?

It's Hans Zimmer who is doing the score. He said it in an interview at Apple.com, and that the film is like "Gladiator in Japan." So, take what you want from that. I doubt the score will be like Gladiator as some would like to imply, but the film will be.NP: Black Hawk Down - Hans Zimmer *****/*****

Zimmer doing the score? There goes any chance of this movie being any good. I wonder how "Mars, The Bringer Of War" will sound like played on a koto.Shaun

But I think "Mercury, the Winged Messenger" would be more appropriate for the koto.
