Well, it finally happened… it may have taken 6 six years to figure it out but we finally did it.For the very first time Cinematic Sound is proud to present on-demand streaming of the show. For those poor unfortunate souls who aren’t able to hear the show live on Saturday can now listen to the show whenever they feel like it. The plan is to upload the entire 3-hour program two days after the live broadcast. So, that means a new show should be available every Monday night. We will leave the show up for one week only. And no we cannot send you a downloadable MP3 file of the program due to copyright laws.
Now, the first show you will hear is our Cinema-Lite program, which aired on February 8th. The show hasn’t been edited in any form therefore you will hear the commercials that were played during the live broadcast. For future shows we will take the commercials out. We are going to leave this show up for a couple of weeks as a test. After the test we will update the show on a weekly basis as mentioned above. You will need a Real Player to listen to the program. A link has been set up at our site for you to download one just incase you don’t have it.
After listening to the show we would like your input. Please vote in out Cinematic Sound Poll, which will be up on the site within 24 hours. Let us know what you thought about the program and if there are any improvements that you would like to see or hear. And if you would like you can e-mail me directly with any questions, comments or concerns at cinematicsound@yahoo.com
The first program is up and ready for you to listen to. Please go to http://www.dillusions.net/Cinematic/cinematic_main.htm and enjoy!
Thank you for your time,

Nice show. I'm looking forward to hearing more of it in the future.Have you thought about offering a link to the RM file (via one of those one liner RAM files), in addition to the embedded player? I just have a personal preference against embedded players and others may find it more convenient to play your program in the external player as well. It's possible right now to listen to it in the external player, it's just not convenient.
In other news... Does anybody know why John Williams' Dreamworks logo music has that annoying mag wow sound to it? Every version of that thing I've heard sounds like it was left in a hot humidor for a decade. There's nothing like 'warbly' music to start off a $100M feature film like Minority Report.

Jonathan, I KNOW! I always thought it was just me who thought that logo music was warbled. Thanks for confirming it for me.Now, how is it that we can hear these things, yet the people producing the DVDs keep throwing it on there?

Well, it's funny... both Ford Thaxton and I say almost the exact same thing when we introduce ourselves during our shows. Actually, it's a coincidence. Having never heard Ford's show when I was starting out I was floored to hear him say the exact same things that I was saying on the air. So, really it's Ford's trademark that I just so happened to copy with out knowing it! Anyway, I'm glad you like it... unless you were being sarcastic!!! :\

Too much Matrix Reloaded for ya Justin? Actually, I've only extended the playing time of a score on the program a few times. Star Wars Episode I and II premieres, Medal of Honor, and The Matrix Reloaded. I have to really love a score to give it more then 15 minutes of playing time, and Davis score blew me away. I don't think it would have been fair to the audience just to play 15 minutes of the techno stuff and not the fabulous 17 minute orchestral suite... or visa versa. Anyway, yes, it was Matrix overkill this week but I promise, it won't happen again

Actually, I was making fun of how many times you said "Don Davis" in like two minutes. ;-)I listened to the show for about 4 minutes and gave up cause of all the bufferring. Now unless I get some program to download streaming radio, which there is, buffering drives me crazy and I don't know if I can tolerate that.
I got a radio voice too, now all I need is a radio station. I got a more comedic type and I usea higher pitch for my presentation.

Atleast he does not say his hame 50 times in under 2 minutes like Ford does."Hi, I'm Ford A. Thaxton and your listening to another addition of soundtrack cinema. I'm your host....Ford A. Thaxton (duh). On todays show hosted by me...Ford A. Thaxton we will be playing selections of my favorite cues...and again if you didn't hear the first time..I am Ford A. Thaxton.
and on and on and on..It should be your listening to another addition of Ford A. Thaxton hosted by Soundtrack Cinema..and I swear..if you listen closely in his radio show..during some of the music..you can hear him whispering his name..=Ţ
