    Hey Sean!

Ironic that I end up answering this of all people, but no, sadly this great, underrated score hasn't been issued on CD yet...I was hoping Sony Legacy would have picked it up in '95 when they did The Blue max, The Reivers, The Alamo, etc, in that series.

The album is really a good listen, nicely paced, one of those ones you are sad to hear end.
Any other fans of this score around?

    Sean

Well, if we are to believe what is announced on this Spanish site:
    http://www.alwaysdiscos.com.br/novidades.htm

Canadian label Cinémusique should release it some time next year.

I have found so far no confirmation on the label site: http://www.disquescinemusique.com/

If someone can read Spanish that would help.

Actually, I only asked about this since another friend was wanting the score and I said I would look into it. Is it any good?

In any case, here's hoping it is released...

    Regards,
    Sean Robert Abbey

Based on this quote from the label's website:

"In 2000, with increased competition from big online retailers, we reoriented our efforts to the restoration and transfer of analog recordings to the digital medium."

...can anyone confirm if the actual master recordings are being used or are these transfers from LPs?

I could almost swear that I have seen an Italian import CD of this score lying around my local FYE store, along with some other obscure Jarre and Morricone.
