I don't know how the music is but don't look for a score release anytime soon. I interviewed Zimmer last week and asked him about it and he said he didn't think there was enough music for an album without it being too repetitive. He plans to sit on it for a while at least.

I think Dan said something which is hilarious (in a good way) given the context. Whether it was intentional or not doesn't matter.[Message edited by Dinko on 12-08-2002]

Technically, "No Post" is a post. In truth, I have hidden a great profundity in those two words.I suggest that you spend a few hours drinking tea from an empty cup and watching the stone grow.

I don't know what "Ejem Ejem" means... But the score is a lot like Hannibal. It's very low key and through out the first parts of the movie, every now and then you'll just hear some slow piano themes. You can sample the rest at Jim Dooley's site. Not a whole lot of music though. And there's not a whole lot that goes on in the music. But it was very fitting for the film.Clayton

ejem: ahem.
interjection similar to coughing.just read it in spanish.

From Sydney Morning Herald
The third is "ahem", marked off by commas. Consciously abrasive, this stylistic device again draws attention to the writer lurking between the lines. "Ahem" is an onomatopoeic throat-clearing sound designed to bring attention to what follows.[Message edited by Dinko on 12-09-2002]

Just rented this movie from the local Blockbuster.
Hot damn...I'm still kinda shaky and scared stiff after watching this movie.I refuse to spoil it for anyone, I recommend this to everyone. The score is very very atmospheric, I have a 5.1 setup and was literally holding the blankets in front of me when the music came on (cue for scary) so that I could duck into its safety.

hey Spicey! You sure you weren't at my house?? I also got setup with 5.1 a couple weeks ago, and finally caught up with this film, so I could work the new system out a bit. Very well done, not what I was expecting in some ways, but good - MILES ahead of Fear Dot Com, which we also rented, and I'll never forgive myself for wasting the cash.....ugh.....
Anyhow, Zimmer's score is nice, but I can't help but feel gyped yet again that he has to write a score with so many damn helpers - I imagine everything featuring cello was written by cellist Martin Tillman, which accounts for much of the score. It's Howard Shore Goes To Austria, but complemented the film, and is VERY well mixed on DVD.
