I should point out that You Only Live Twice at 73 mins will be the complete score!Bad news for fans of Moonraker and Octopussy....same as original releases.
Goldfinger will include tracks from the UK release not included on the US one.

Besides, I can't go to the FSM message board. Morality issues there, you know.

They have found no new tapes for Moonraker. Too bad...Still, February will be an expensive month for me.

Yes I would have liked an expanded View To A Kill (even though almost all the score is on the original), Moonraker which has some great missing cues and The Spy Who Loved Me (the original tracks...I've always had a soft spot for Hamlich's effort
)....But man look at what IS coming, OHMSS and DAF have been my top dream 'wants' for so many years I almost believed it would never happen...to Lukas Kendal, Jeff Bond and all else involved, BLESS YOUR COTTON SOCKS!

If the unreleased stuff is similar to what's on the CD now I think we can wait a few years for that one. Hey at least they didn't announce an expanded Goldeneye.

Lukas has finally confirmed over at FSM that the new non-expanded Bond releases will not have improved sound quality. They've been "remastered" but not "remixed."Disappointing to say the least...
Stupid at the most. (Re-release it just for more liner notes? Okay... I bet the price won't be in the "nice price" category this time around, either.)

The recordings do not neccesarily have to be completely remixed to improve the sound quality.I am disappointed that Octopussy will not be among the expanded releases... I have always enjoyed that score, and would have liked to have had some of the additional cues for the train sequence and, most importantly, the "Bond to India" cue, which is fantastic travelogue music.
On the other hand, an expanded On Her Majesty's Secret Service is a dream come true!

I'm not sure how something can be remastered and not sound better. The whole point of the remastering is to improve the sound. Remixing refers to going back to the multitrack elements and essentially doing a new mix. I never thought there was a problem with the mix on MOONRAKER, for example, but it could certainly use some remastering. The EMI CD even had some wow in it.So don't give up hope. They probably won't sound like the original CDs.

I was worried for a bit there that they might not remaster the tracks. I've wanted OHMSS for a while now and it'll probably be the only one I'll buy. But god dammm 75+ minutes of OHMSS. :O

Peter,I may be phenomenally incorrect, but wasn't A View To A Kill on this list as well? If not for 2/11, then for a later date?

These aren't by any chance DSD-remastered? I just got my second hybrid SACD, another one of the newly remastered Rolling Stones albums, and the sound quality improvement is quite amazing.NP: Flowers (The Rolling Stones)

What is wrong with the marketing machine? An unnamed big online retailer has the 02/11 discs up with a list price of $11.98 each!
Living Daylights
From Russia With Love
Dr. No (eew)
Diamonds are Forever
On Her Majesty's Secret Service
Live and Let Die
For Your Eyes Only
OctopussyI don't see any of the 02/25 releases up yet, though.
$12 sounds like a great price to me.
