I you have picked up this cd in the U.S then you are doing good. I bought the UK version, to compare with, Silva screens U.S remastering of the old Varese club cd. WELL THE U.S VERSON BLOWS THE UK ONE OUT OF THE WATER- not a jab at the queens navy mind you. It is clearer- violins are clearly seperated from the brass, more dynamic- the strings and brass do not break up in loud passages, etc etc. Now, I have a modest system: B&k amp, Parasound Pre, Audio Alchemy cd transport, and Energy speakers; BUT IT IS VERY REVEALING EVEN NEXT TO REAL HIGH END SYSTEMS. Also, the HAMMER HOUSE THAT DRIPPED BLOOD HDCD (UK PRESSING) IS ALSO MIND BLOWINGLY GOOD.

Ok. But please don't yell so much. You sound like you were recorded in HDCD at Smecky Studios by John Luard Timperley.

Why would you say something like that? I almost would expect a comment like "excellent, I love the performance, and if the sound is that good, I can't wait to buy it." Or else, just don't post, knowbody gets anything out of comments like that. Love you

Umm, please correct me if I'm wrong, but this recording WAS NEVER RELEASED ON A VARESE CLUB CD.

Don't you just love how CAPS DRIVE A POINT HOME? It's just such a FRIENDLY WAY TO TYPE MESSAGES ON FORUMS THESE DAYS.

    HAVE A NICE DAY.

I think it was a Masters Film Music.
You know, the elite version of the Club CD. But not part of the Varèse Club, but sort of associated to, but not a member of. You know?
    Or some such nonesense.

HAVA NAGEELA HAVA NICE DAY TO YOU TOO!

Ah... don't those say "Masters Film Music" on the spine?

NP: The lastest Bond song masterpiece is playing on the TV as my mom watches VH1. Please kill me now.

Not to take a jab at the queen's navy with CSS, but no such luck. PCM 2.0 audio is uncompress and takes you know, around the block. It's pretty amazing that a walk to Alaska would do the trick, but you know. Peter Graves knows how to do it, yes? The strings, b&k amp... well you konw, oval tv speakers, sounds great. Too bd that there wuzn't a supreme 8track or something, you know.

Masters released it back then. Then the English issue followed.

    Best, J.
