I have to take my girlfriend to Syracuse so she can take the CPA exam. While she is there I thought I would take in a movie and hopefully go used cd shopping.

Does anyone know of any good shops in town?

I have no idea about the shops, but pass on some good luck to your G/F. My mom passed the exam a few years ago and after spending countless hours studying for it.

Well, my score-hunting trip to Syracuse, NY was pretty decent.

Media-Play had monster music compilation for 4 bucks...and I found a great used cd store called "Record Theater"

    my finds:
-The Addams Family by Shaiman (to replace my old cassette!)
    -True Lies
    -The Haunting
    -Far and Away
-A Kid in King Arthur's Court (only 1.99, so I couln't pass it up!)
    -Enemy at the Gates
-Tresspass, by Ry Cooder (another 1.99 find)
    -K-19

all these scores for 25 bucks!not too shabby.

Nice, Mike! It's about time you added some of those to your collection (namely the Williams and Goldsmith)! Shaiman's Addams Family is a lot of fun... and True Lies has always been my favorite of Fiedel's. Schindler's List is a classic... though I thought you already had that one.

Uhh...Jeron? I don't see any mention of Schindler's List on Mike's purchase summary. Are you blind, man?!

    Jeron: very funny!

If it wasn't 5.99, I would not have bought Enemy at the Gates, that is for sure.

Addams Family is a fun score..and so is the second one! Love the kooky songs.
