I'm curious to know what everyone considers to be the most sought after scores, as yet unreleased?

Apologies if this has been discussed in the past (I did a quick search!)

From what I have read here and there, QUO VADIS must be on top of that list.

    Juha,

THE WAR LORD (Moross/Salter) has been already released by Varese a few years ago.

Ditto for FOR WHOM THE BELL TOLLS, available on a stanyan cd under the direction of Ray Hendorff (of course you might have been referring to the original soundtrack, since this one is a re-recording).

I only need two titles(at least the two that always jump to mind) to see a legal, complete release....

    Pino Donaggio's BODY DOUBLE

    and most importantly

    Brian May's THE ROAD WARRIOR.

All you dudes who had to wait 20-30 years for good recordings of Tiomkin, Steiner, Waxman, et al....I feel your pain

    NP: St. Luke Passion(Penderecki)

Like Joan, I would like to see One Little Indian by Goldsmith. Great score. And

a CD of TV scores and suites by him from early 70s

Winterkill, Going Up of David Lev, etc. Crawlspace, Pursuit.

Only the end title from Pursuit is recorded so far on the Primetime America Daniel Caine CD.

Red River is coming soon on Marco Polo. We already have several Charge of Light Brigades. Some of the others up there are out already.

    Take care friends, J.

While not "unreleased," I want some expanded Bond discs that don't sound like they were mixed to be played on a piezo buzzer.

I'd have to agree with Indysolo that a good release of Temple of Doom would be greatly appreciated as well.

as far as contemporary composers go, I need some unreleased Burwell scores.

I thought Varese had doubled Back to School with Pee Wee's Big Adventure.

Bruce Broughton's 'The Boy Who Could Fly'

Varese have an OOP album that is re-orchestrated and re-arranged. Percepto was supposed to have a promo release of the complete original score, but they claim to no longer have any stock.

And I'd give a testicle to get my hands on a CD copy of Momentum's release of Goldsmith's 'The Trouble With Angels'.
