It's interesting for sure. Just like how Hans and others have been doing it too.

Well, I'll give him a nod for using a Mac...but Elfman hasn't written anything I find listenable since Nightbreed.

    Informative interview.

SPQR: What about Summersby, Black Beauty and The Family Man? Those hardly qualify as un-listenable

Sommersby is the only Elfman CD I own. Lovely, melodic music. (Guess I knew.)

Aww, Mom!! You gotta check out some more of his stuff. Really, you gotta. I imagine you would love Black Beauty. And probably even The Family Man. Instinct is a good one, too.

The only Elfman album I own is Men in Black, and I just picked that up last week.

Ironically, they probably own every John Debney CD released.

Frankly, I lost interest in Elfman after about the 22,000 "funfa". Speaking of which, whatever happened to that wacky Brazilian anyway?

To defend myself: The only Debney CDs I own are Cutthroat Island and SeaQuest: DSV.

This must be a joke. Surely he's not score writing now?!

Ryan is always making fun of the Now Playing thing at the bottom of posts. No need to ever take him seriously.

Good one on Gangs of New York! :-)

I actually thought for a minute that Eminem might actually be writing the score for the film...neither the trailer nor IMDB list a composer, so that left me to wonder...
