Although they aren't filmscore composers, they have both done music for films so hopefully this isn't too far O.T.

    Whatever happened to Kate Bush?

    Whatever happened to Kim Wilde?

    Just curious...

    with love as always,
    the filmscore gal,
    Galina

Last i heard, Kate Bush was in the studio recording a new album (seems it takes the same amount of time to make an album as Peter Gabriel).

Kim Wilde had a massive hit here in Belgium last year with the song 'Loved'.

Thank you for the good news, Lars, do you know if a CD release from Kim accompanied that hit or not?

    Hi Gala,

Just wanted to say that I always thought Kate Bush was something special, this lady has got talent by the bucket load (didja know it was Pink Floyd's Dave Gilmore who spotted her brilliance lo those many years ago?!), I believe she does have a new album in production but as always with Kate it'll be in her own time She's never been the starry pop diva type.

The Kick Inside is still amoungst my top 10 fave pop albums!

Well, of course, anyone who is a Hammer film fan, as indeed our Kate is, must ooze artistic integrity and talent!!

Gae NW Dracula Prince of Darkness (Film Four)... also listening to James Bernard's atmospheric DRA-CU-LAAAA score!!

Kim Wilde, does that name bring back memories of the 80s. I bought her first album as a lark because I liked the cover. Hadn't heard Kids in America or anything. Picked up everything she did after that until Another Step and Close. [One review of Close in a music magazine was a classic. After the records title was headlined the entire review read simply: "But no cigar."] They didn't do anything for me and I lost interest and thought she'd disappeared off the map. Now I'll have to hunt this CD down.
