OK, I have looked for this song for about 3 weeks and have yet to find it anywhere, anyone know wher I can get the complete version, or when the soundtrack is coming out.

The soundtrack will no doubt be a huge tie in with the film. The infamous rapper even asked for longer time to work on it. Stay tuned to MovieMusic for updates, or you can check out the official movie site or "Slim's" web site.

    Oh yeah, in addition...

I always thought this was MovieMusic.com, not Moviedisgusting crap by no-talent scum.com.

    But maybe I was mistaken.

Hey, I don't like the guy's music--frankly I think he's a putz...but don't you think you guys are being a little harsh? I thought message boards (especially this one) were all about being tolerant towards another individuals musical tastes, even if they choose to listen to intolerant music. I didn't know being self-righteous was part of that.

The fact that you despise Eminem doesn't change the fact that this is a post about music from a movie, so technically (but maybe I'm mistaken) it is movie music.

    Just my 2 cents.

gee Kevin, that's a bit of a negative tone... just cause you don't like to discuss songs from soundtracks in film doesn't mean no one should be able to discuss them here. And especially if an artist is writing song specifically for the film, I think this is as good a forum as any to discuss it - regardless of your opinion on the artist's talent or not.

Do I hear sirens? What police are invading now?

Uhh, duh.... when someone usually states their opinion about something they do >>>>NOT<<<< like, it's usually sorta maybe kinda "negative" (there are other words, too, but we'll stick with this one).

Kevin, you are banned from discussing Eminem's music because you don't like it. Your opinion is your opinion, and we'll have none of that.

    Dan,

He's not an artist, nor does he have what sane & rational people call talent.

    He's a loser. A punk. In fact, a $$^#&@%$@##%%& punk-loser.

    Peter,

Dan was obviously referring to the way Kevin (and others) were be uncivil towards the question. I'm pretty sure you knew that, too. You seem to be doing more to silence Dan's opinion than Dan was doing to silence Kevin's. What police, indeed.

The rest of you, you're making the film score community look like a bunch of uptight, eclectic snobs. I don't care for Eminem or his "music" either, but I don't have to be an ******* about it.

You know, I think my case has already been pleaded, but I just wanted to say this.

I know some people don't like Eminem, but "8-Mile" is a movie and the song "Lose Yourself" is for the soundtrack to this movie and since the topic of this forum is MOVIE SOUNDTRACKS I figured people were kind enough to just respond a little more nicely, but I guess not.

    Peter,

You better change this forum to Movie (or Film) Scores, lest we get more questions about non-score stuff that don't belong here.

I think the soundtrack police are after Danny Gonzalez. They think he is the one who broke into mediaventures vault and stole all they're unreleased scores since he says he can offer any complete mediaventures score known to man

I've been there; way too many pop-up ads. Had to restart my computer.

Granted this isn't the place to talk about songs in movies (if people, and this includes unnamed reviewers, want to talk about songs, then what the fudge are they doing here?!), but I don't think this is the place to hate on someone's songs. I think that Eminem is pretty talented.
