I know we already have a post here about the new 101 Dalmatians score... I picked it up today. I was wondering if anyone had the inside track on a new series here...in the past, they released two on one day...but I've only found 101. Anyone know more?

WHY CAN"T THEY, WILL THEY EVER, JUST RE-RELEASE THE LION KING CD WITH THE COMPLETE SCORE? GRRRRRRRRRRR

Here's the ultimate version. A 2CD set with all the songs and all their original instrumental underscore on one disc (with the pop version too ). Then they can put Zimmer's complete score on the other disc, complete with alternate versions. Then they can jack the price up to 24.99 and I'll still buy it. Heck I'll buy it even if it's 39.99

I'd buy it, too. That's probably the third best Disney score of the 90s, behind Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast.

But honestly, I think the current CD is an adequate representation.

I wonder if Disney ever released "The Happiest Millionaire" and "Bedknobs and Broomsticks" on LP. If not, and these soundtracks are being released for the very first time, then there just may be a glimmer of hope for soundtracks like "The Sword in the Stone" (Please, God!), "The Black Hole", and "Robin Hood", to name a few.

Well, Danny, I typed in both titles into the fabled "Soundtrack List" site, and there are no listings, at all, for either one. I'm very intrigued by this. I won't be buying either disc, but this bodes well for the future of Disney soundtracks, knock on wood.

Hate to rain on your parade, but my dad is a big fan of Happiest Millionaire and a couple of years ago I found a used copy of the LP for him, so it has been released before.

How different is the LP from the CD (compare track listings?)
