I was rather surprised upon watching the Enemy at the Gates DVD deleted scenes that one is dubbed with music from Thin Red Line.

It is the first scene in the deleted scenes feature, with Law and Fiennes talking about Law's father. I think the music is either from "Light" or "The Lagoon" from Thin Red Line, but I'm 99% sure it's from TRL.

Has anyone noticed this? Is it old news? What's the deal?

I remember this. Don't recall what track it was from...definitely from The Thin Red Line. Willing to bet it's a temp track the director used that would have been replaced by a very similar sounding Horneresque piece had it remained in the film.
