The first theme that appears in the score on CD of Reign of Fire is in the track "Meet Van Zan". But is this Van Zan's theme? Or the main theme of the movie? Come to think of it this theme ony appears when Van Zan is on screen. So I can assume it is his theme, but at the very end in "Rebirth" after Van Zan is long ******** SPOILER COMINGSPOILER COMINGSPOILER COMINGSPOILER COMINGSPOILER COMINGSPOILER COMINGSPOILER COMINGSPOILER COMINGSPOILER COMINGSPOILER COMINGSPOILER COMINGSPOILER COMINGSPOILER COMINGSPOILER COMINGSPOILER COMINGSPOILER COMINGSPOILER COMINGSPOILER COMINGSPOILER COMINGSPOILER COMINGSPOILER COMINGSPOILER COMINGSPOILER COMING********* dead. The theme comes comes back in full agian. So whats the theme belong too? For now I'm thinking its a Dragon Slayer theme, that Van Zan had, but is passed on to Quinn in the finale since he kinda takes over and starts hunting Dragons himself.

Reign of Fire - Edward Shearmur 3/5

Really? I looked for it today, but no store had it. Only Reign of Fire was there so I got that one.

But there like the same types of scores right? Action/Suspense? Though Eightlegged Freaks is probably a little more cartoon like. So...maybe I'm not missing all that much if I have at least one of them. But the Pumpkin score is something I should look into.

So I guess noone bought Reign of Fire or saw the movie huh? Well thats alright, I guess some people are just destined to be alone & different.

There is a thread called Reign Of Fire: How is it? right on this page. Several people discuss the movie and the score.

But my topic isn't about how the score is. Its a question about the theme.

You can take them to water... but that don't mean they're gonna drink it.

Thats not very fair. You need to go and search for the various Star Wars topics and and ask them, why didn't they post there topics under the very first one.

Besides the Van Zane theme (?) there's this ominous sounding theme in the prologue. Used again in "Return to London". IMO the structure is of this theme is reminiscent of the often used DIES IRAE.
Haven't seen the movie yet and have no idea when I will, cuz it's not even announced yet in Switzerland. So I don't know for what the theme is for.
