My love affair with the music composed for films started more years ago than I care to remember. Yet I still experience the same thrill when I discover the work of yet another composer whose work was unknown to me.
Anyone else familiar with the film scores of Sam Cardon? I recently obtained all his work to date, and it is FANTASTIC! The heart-stopping beauty of WHALES. ZION CANYON: TREASURE OF THE GODS. Awesome!! The power and terror depicting SHACKLETON'S ANTARTIC ADVENTURE. Quirky HEARST CASTLE: BUILDING THE DREAM and the etheareal and majestic MYSTERIES OF EGYPT. Great stuff !!!

Haven't heard his work, J, but I read an article about him in a recent FSM or Soundtrack (haven't got it at hand). Those IMAX scores sounded like they might be pretty good.J, you must be young at heart if you still get a thrill out of hearing the work of a newboy. I'm old and jaded and bitter and go "Oh no, not another one!" when I see "Music by Sharble Bramblebush", even when the score's good.
