I'll not be around for a while. The Lovely Laura and I are getting married tomorrow afternoon at 4:30pm; two glorious weeks of honeymoon (first in Las Vegas; then at Capistrano Beach in California) to follow.

Film music is all over this event, both songs specifically from soundtracks (like I DON'T KNOW (SPICOLLI'S THEME), from FAST TIMES AT RIDGEMONT HIGH) and scoring - we walk down the aisle together for the first time as Husband and Wife to the strains of THE THRONE ROOM, from STAR WARS: A NEW HOPE.

First dance tune? WE HAVE ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD, the Louis Armstrong vocal version from ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE.

There are some folks from this Board - you know who you are - that should be checking their mail over the next coupla days for their copy of MARK & LAURA'S WEDDING - THE SOUNDTRACK ALBUM!, a cd-r that I made to distribute to the folks here for the party & those who couldn't attend. Hope you like it.

ANYway....I should be back online the evening of July 14th - also my birthday! - when we return from honeymoon. Until then, Be Well, all of you of The Order Of The White Hat.

Congratulations to you Mark, and of course the Lovely Laura.

I'm sure she will be even lovelier in her gown, and you'll look really spiffy in your tux.

What I think is neat is - many people have videos taken now, alongside of the standard photographs, but this is the first time there will be a score CD available.

Honeymoon in Vegas? Sounds familiar somehow.

A VERY big thumbs up. Glad to see someone else using film music as part of their wedding. Holly and I had our friends and relatives worried that we were going to "mess it up with some Star Trek music" and got praised afterward for not doing it.

Holly and I got a good laugh afterward, because we had snuck Star Trek in without anyone picking it up. We used Ilia's Theme from Star Trek: The Motion Picture, probably one of the most romantic pieces ever written for Star Trek.

Live long and prosper, Mark and Laura.

Thank You all so very much!
Still out here in the Golden State having a ball.

I'll be talking to you next week, Timmer; same to Marian, Howard, Chris, Brad, Sean and Shaun.

I honestly hope that each of you gets to be this happy at least once in your life.
