Danny Elfman eh? Perhaps three great scores from this great composer in one year. Has he done anything like this before, besides perhaps Sleepy Hollow (I wouldn't really put that in the same category). The trailor makes the movie look pretty good, but I said the same thing about that royal stinker Hannibal. Here's hoping.

I hope this doesn`t turn out like Elfman`s Extreme Measures score, which is tedious and boring.
After hearing Spiderman I`m sure he can pull something interesting out of his hat, hopefully expounding on the classical / gothic athmosphere of Zimmer`s Hannibal.
But then again Brett Ratner`s directing and Rush Hour is NOT a good film.

Well, I asked Elfman at the BMI Awards last month if he had any plans to follow in the footsteps of either Shore or Zimmer.... and he merely smiled and shook his head.

Be sure to catch the original version of RED DRAGON, MANHUNTER. In my view, it's the best of the bunch. Also stars William Peterson of CSI fame as the FBI agent.

yeah, not to mention some killer cinematography by Dante Spinotti. Of course... Spinotti is doing RED DRAGON too.... kinda weird..... we'll see what he does... lol.
