Looks like Varese will be releasing John Ottman's score for Eight Legged Freaks on 7/23/02. Go to Varese site and look in upcoming releases.Jeff

I noticed Varese had updated their site to include "Eight Legged Freaks" but knew that it probably had been on here somewhere earlier so I didn't bother to mention it. However...I didn't know that John Ottman was scoring "Trapped." I saw the trailer and thought it looked like an interesting film. (Although Charlize Theron seems to be the box-office kiss of death lately. Almost as bad as Penelope Cruz.) What everyone here SHOULD do is go over the the wonderful John Ottman site and take a listen to the very generous sound clips he has on this film. One track runs just over 8 mins!

Sounds okay, though not great. A bit too chaotic perhaps....
Ottman`s best scores are still Incognito (a 5 star score if there ever was one) and Usual Suspects

What, Eight Legged Freaks? It wasn't really shopped around a lot - but at least we're getting a 45-min release of it... (though a 60-min release would have been REALLY nice - but hella expensive). Dan

Damn. I was hoping we'd have the album as presented by the tracks on John's site. I'd provide the link but you do it so much better Dan.

Heh - thanks James.
