Well the site will be down for a day or two until I can figure out how to get it working right or have to go back to a damn free web hosting page.
    Sorry,
    Jeff

    Jeff, I'm curious:

Do you find it difficult to maintain a sense of credibility as webmaster of the Beltrami site when you have such a notorious reputation as a bad trader?

Thank you Jeff for showing some kind of civility. As I've mentioned before, a lot of official composer sites are built by fans if they aren't built by the composers themselves, and a lot of the time fan sites have things official sites don't, and vice versa. In other words, it's even in the end. In even other words, there's not much difference.

My only quip? Jeff, quit movin' the damned URL so much.

The great thing is you thought Thor had Jeff in the corner, but his simple answer "No", followed by aboslutely nothing else, knocked Thor straight on the ground.

Hi all - as some might know, I have avoided registering with this msg. board until now...

I want to show support for Jeff. I have traded with Jeff, and it went off without a hitch. I have collaborated with Jeff on the Marco Beltrami website and he has been nothing but generous and patient (knowing how slow I work -- that's a big thing!)

I have no idea what may have happened between Jeff and traders in the past, and that's the point. It's in the past, and as far as I am concerned, he's dependable and friendly NOW. Perhaps this is just a case of trader envy. I know Jeff has a considerable collection that he continues to build voraciously. But let's try to keep our knickers on.

I think everyone's knickers are on, and this stuff about trading histories has no place here. As we've seen in the past here, this crap only results in nasty **** , and I really am not in the mood for it anymore. Jeff as answered "No." He has no problems with what Thor speaks of. End of service. Go home everyone. The lights are out.

    Thanks everyone.
    Peter,
I'm sorry that links keep changing. I hated those free sites because of ads and file size limits. And so I went to host the site from my computer. which was working until i got a router to hook both my computers up. and now it does not want to work. I'm working on trying to get a real web hosting site. I had someone offer to host my site on thier website. But it will be a few weeks before that could happen. If there is anyone who would be willing to help host my site, please drop me an e-mail at jjlogan@hotmail.com. Maybe we can work out a deal.

    Thanks,
    Jeff

That's right. I was not intending to provoke a name-calling feast here. I was genuinely curious as to how Jeff tackled his rugged "track record" (which I have not been exposed to myself, btw, since I've never traded with him) in correlation with his new status as a Beltrami internet authority. That's all. He said "no", and I appreciate that (although a little elaboration wouldn't have hurt). But I'm not going to dig deeper.

"his new status as a Beltrami internet authority"

Thor, Jeff has been running the unofficial Beltrami site(s) for more than two years at least. But then again, I have mush for brains, which might cause me to forget things. Or, even worse, not have such wacky genuine curiousities.

    Hey everyone,
The site will be down for about a week to 2 weeks. I finally had to hook the router back up to both computers and it does not let anyone into my site. Someone offered to help host the site, but i don't know if or when that will happen.
If anyone is able to help with hosting the site, please fell free to e-mail me. I would more than happy to send you something in return for helping host the site.
If you would like to hear clips from a certain score of his, e-mail me and I will e-mail you a few clips in real audio.

Thor, I have no problem with you wanting to know. If you do want to know more, you can e-mail about it. But this is not the place or the post to talk about off subject stuff.
This is a post just letting people know of a site update

    Thanks,
    Jeff

    Hi folks,
I can help for the site. I have a large free space available on my site so I can store it all, or maybe just the sounds clips as you wish. However, I'm moving today and tomorrow to a new place, so I think won't be able to do it before the mid or end of the next week I think (the time my connection is back, and the time I'll be a little bit installed in my new place! :-) ). Anyway, as soon as I can do it, I'll let you know Jeff. Unless you find somebody else before that time. Anyway, the point is to have a place to store the clips, and stop having the site URL. ;-) Anyway, I'll see you soon.

    Nice weekend,

    Regards,

Unless you are Dex's new boyfried, I have no idea. Are you Dex's new boyfriend?

Jeff78, I think soundtrack.net offers free hosting, although the site has been offline for the last few days I've checked.

Aside from Ryan's Elfman site, we only host official composer sites.... sorry. And our site has been up and down because of a bad hard drive that has now been fixed - and it's all good and running now.

    Hey Ryan,

I'm not sure but I think it was you who was in the process of making a Trevor Jone's website about 3 years ago, "G.I. Jones" is what you called it. What the heck ever happened to it?

I'm afraid that site may be lost forever as I can't seem to track it down online or the files. Maybe I'll take another crack at it, but I have so many sites going now... With at least 2 more I'm working on... Thank god I'm a billionaire and have 4 understanding wives.
