Is it just me, or is it just a little too early to be thinking about such things?

Indeed! This thread is totally useless- I'm going back to the much more important thread on Dolly Parton's massive breasts.

This is one of those topics where you read it and kinda go "Yeah...." and then let the thread slowly wither into nothing...

So... I wonder if Brian will be so inclined to post the rumored release date for THE RETURN OF THE KING next year?

Tim_P, Are those the very same massive breasts that were the inspiration for the song "Islands in the Stream" when Dolly was taking a bath one day?

Two Towers comes out on December 9th, in case people didn't want to go to that link. And my prediction for Return Of The King is sometime between December 19, 2002 and December 17, 2003.
And the Ultimate Lord Of The Rings Trilogy 12-Disc Set will be out along with the 15-Disc DVD set by summer of 2004.
Of course, by then Peter Jackson will have been talked into doing The Hobbit, so we'll have to add even more discs to the sets.

Yes, and in retrospect, you now know that the rumor you announced was entirely false - negating it's usefulness. So having learned from this experience, spread not rumors that are untrue!

Wow, 15 discs DVD! Will that be like buying each of the special editions (FOTR DVD special edition is a 5 disc DVD), or will it have features not included before?
I really hope that Peter Jackson takes the hobbit to the production line, but I'm not sure if he will. I'd love to see Shore scoring the hobbit in case it is produced.

There's been some interview with PJ a while ago where he said he doesn't have any plans to do The Hobbit right now, and that he wants to make something smaller after LOTR, but that he might be interested in doing it later on.I hope he does, and I hope he brings back not only Shore, but Holm and McKellen as well.
