Unless I missed them, there haven't been many threads on this new gem from FSM. Maybe it's a sign of my age, but I remember this is one of those fun, inventive, not-what-you'd-expect scores that made me admire Goldsmith so much in the first place. It's clever, it's got a nifty main theme (with a calipoe, no less) plus a beautiful, melancholy secondary theme, and some fascinating musical tricks along the way. Okay, it's not STTMP, or POTA, but it's a lot more interesting than "Contract on Cherry Street," to me anyway. Am I the only one happy to get this lost treasure?

You're right, this is an interesting score that goes in ways that are unexpected. I suggest that those who enjoyed the Flim-Flam Man score should pick this one up as well.

Good score from a very weird picture. Perhaps this was a precursor of what to expect from Jerry in regards to his Good Score/Bad Movie vein.
