Someone must have purchased these two Varese albums. Personally I`m quite curious about both of them and as I can`t find any sound clips, opinions are appreciated!
Especially Kaczmarek`s score is very intriguing as I have liked everything I have of his: Bliss, Lost Souls and Washington Square.
I wasn`t exactly blown away by Julyan`s score for Memento, though it did suit the film. It`ll be interesting to hear what he comes up with an orchestra....

INSOMNIA is a really cool score (and film). I definitely recommend you go out and see this one! (And then be sure to check out the original 1997 film!)

Julyan's score is moody and ambient (but not really "atmospheric"). Haven't listened to the album yet, though.

UNFAITHFUL has a great set of themes, and I was really impressed with Kazcmarek's work on this film.

The Insomnia score is quite good--notice Julyan's motif for Pacino's insomnia sort of sounds like one of Goldsmith's Alien motifs.

Kaczmarak's score starts off impressively then goes off in another direction--but I highly recommend both movies.
