    Yes Dinko (Oddities).My Bibles reveal that Robert Russell Bennett scored FUGITIVES FOR A NIGHT and ANNABEL TAKES A TOUR. Both in 1938 for RKO. PACIFIC LINER.     Interesting. I thought he only scored a couple of things on Broadway and did some classical work.

    He actually scored hundreds of Broadway's finest musicals, as well as adapting Rodgers' tunes to Victory at Sea.
    He also orchestrated and occasionally ghost wrote material such as for Newman's HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME, and Waxman's REBECCA.
    My Marco Polo partner Bill Stromberg recorded for Naxos AMERICAN CLASSICS a CD of Bennett's classical music: Abraham Lincoln and Sights and Sounds. These were written in 1929 and feature a huge orchestra.
