The Disappearance of Garcia Lorca is PHENOMENOL!!!!! The first track is DEFINITELY worth the price of the CD!!!!
P.S. Hi Rochelle!

I like the Mark McKenzie that I have heard. Tell me more about this disappearing Garcia Lorca.Inspired by this post (and dismayed that cine-sin's picture is now Samantha's Mom's cat Samantha, no disparagement to Samantha, but she's no Rochelle) I have updated my profile pic. It's not pretty but it is topical.

My favorite Mark McKenzie score is still Warlock: The Armageddon. Such a sweeping, epic score.

Well Kyle was the only one to notice the Samantha's mom thing - which is what I was trying to bring attention to. Silly post really but I was tickled pink with the cat. What can be said about Lorca? Great score...compelling romantic melodies that'll blow up a gas station.
Cheers

Yeah, I kick myself for not buying WARLOCK:ARMAGEDDON years back. While not quite up there with Christopher Young's work on HELLRAISER (IMHO, a pretty seminal score in the 'adding an epic feel on a non-epic budget' department), I remember it being quite good.
I actually just picked up McKenzie's DR. JEKYLL AND MS. HYDE on a lark for like 4.99 and it, too, is actually quite good...yet I remember a few of McKenzie's scores being pretty mundane and not of much interest.
Didn't he do the DRAGONHEART: NEW BEGINNING score? I had heard in FSM that it borrowed bits from the DRAGONHEART original score, but is there any good new stuff there? Any other McKenzie treasures I might be missing?
