    Hi Fellas,

I would be greatly thankful, if you could give me some ideas, on which scores I could use for my store. They should not be too loud and more on the romantic, quiet side.
    Thanks for your thoughts !

Try some Gabriel Yared scores.... or some George Fenton.

THE SPITFIRE GRILL and A BEAUTIFUL MIND are pretty good Horner scores that can be played in the background quietly.

I would think Thomas Newman's THOSE SECRETS would be perfect as well.

"The Wheel Of Pain" from Conan The Barbarian is still one of the best pieces of music to hear while you're working...

... and Conan the Barbarian is one of the best scores to listen to while you're doing absolutely anything at all.

    Forbidden Planet
    Day The Earth Stood Still
    Apocalypse Now
    Midnight Express

    OK, I'm kidding...

If I were shopping I think music by John Barry would go best, not Bond stuff, but the Out of Africa, My Life, Dances With Wolves, Somewhere In Time, Frances, Across The Sea of Time, Moviola CD, kind of sound.

How about some of Ennio Morricone's nice scores like La dame aux Camelias, Marco Polo, Love affair, Legend of 1900, What dreams may come, Pasolini un delitto Italiano, Cinema Paradiso...

Anders is right. When Morricone isn't chewing up the recording studio, his romantic scores are right on the money for the sound you want for the store.
