In the tradition of the "What's New In Your Collection" threads I thought I'd start up another monthly e-mail thread to find out what new compilation tapes, CD's or Minidiscs we have made in the past month. This thread can be updated as many times as you want throughout each month because I'm sure some of us make more then one compilation disc each month. So here we go with the first one for me this month.

    FORMAT - MINIDISC
TITLE - FILM MUSIC MIX 23

    1. Christus Apollo - Fireworks (Jerry Goldsmith)
    2. Beastmaster 2 - Dar the Hero (Robert Folk)

    4. Return to Neverland - Flight Through Never Land (Joel McNeely)
    5. Iris - Part I (James Horner)
    6. We Were Soldiers - End Credits (Nick Glennie-Smith)
    7. Attack of the Clones - Across The Stars (John Williams)
    8. The Goonies - Fratelli Chase (Dave Grusin)
    9. The Count of Monte Cristo - End Credits (Ed Shearmur)

In the past, I just combined music from two different CDs onto one, in order to make room in my collection (ex. "Radio Flyer" & "Backdraft"; "Paulie" and "Liar Liar"), but now, I have an official compilation, created from three scores by Jerry Goldsmith, a favorite of all of us, I'm sure.
    I burned it last week.

    1. Bloody Christmas (L.A. CONFIDENTIAL) 2.50
    2. Morning on the Beach (SLEEPING WITH THE ENEMY) 2.29
    3. Spring Cleaning (SLEEPING WITH THE ENEMY) 2.27
    4. A Place for Everything (THE HAUNTING) 3.17
    5. Questions (L.A. CONFIDENTIAL) 2.20
    6. Fears (SLEEPING WITH THE ENEMY) 2.53
    7. The Cafe (L.A. CONFIDENTIAL) 2.20
    8. Terror in Bed (THE HAUNTING) 5.34
    9. A Brave Girl (SLEEPING WITH THE ENEMY) 3.47
    10. The Keys (L.A. CONFIDENTIAL) 1.52
    11. The Ring (SLEEPING WITH THE ENEMY) 2.06
    12. Susan Lefferts (L.A. CONFIDENTIAL) 2.54
    13. Curly Hair (THE HAUNTING) 3.09
    14. The Carousel (THE HAUNTING) 2.54
    15. Shootout (L.A. CONFIDENTIAL) 4.09
    16. The Funeral (SLEEPING WITH THE ENEMY) 3.21
    17. What Did He Do? (SLEEPING WITH THE ENEMY) 2.25
    18. Thanks, Mom (SLEEPING WITH THE ENEMY) 4.23
    19. Rollo Tomasi (L.A. CONFIDENTIAL) 3.08
    20. Finally Home (THE HAUNTING) 6.16
    21. The Victor (L.A. CONFIDENTIAL) 2.31
    22. Home Safe (THE HAUNTING) 3.16

I'm thinking of calling it - no lie - "Solid Gold(smith)".
