    You forgot one star there!

Thanks to Dan Brecher (where are you?) for recommending DV-Depot some weeks ago. Two days ago they sent my DVDs, today I got them:

    • Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone - watched it again today, really very good. Williams' score is a masterpiece, and the Hermione actress should have won an Oscar.
    • The Others - Can't wait to see it again, watched the trailer on the DVD and got really scared.
    • Memento - Never seen it. So many people told me how good it is that I saved the money for the DVD instead of watching it in the cinema.

Plus I got a copy of Bernstein's Candide (LSO, Bernstein). Love that overture (of which I now have 4 different recordings).

NP: Attack of the Clones (John Williams)

Egads this month is almost over and I haven't bought one damn CD. Either there is nothing out there or I'm afraid a serious lack of interest is starting to take place on my behalf.

    Goodies!!

Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron (Hans Zimmer & Steve Jabolinsky) *****/***** The score is amazing and the songs a really enjoyable a perfectly well rounded album.

Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone -Computer Game This really isn't a score but there is some great music written by Jeremy Soule. JW's is still better though. ****/*****
