    Elektra does score soundtracks?

I can remember Sommersby and X-Files being on Elektra.

The only Elektra score CDs I have are the great North, Rosenman and Delerue compilations.

Just because a particular record label hasn't had the "best track record" in terms of releasing good scores doesn't mean they won't put out a good release when they DO have a good score to release.

Elektra (also with Elektra/Nonesuch) also put out a few scores NOT on Jonathan's list... including THE CLIENT, FRANTIC, THE FUGITIVE, JFK, and SIX DEGREES OF SEPERATION, among others.

I'm sure that THE SUM OF ALL FEARS release will be just fine and dandy.

....it just means the CD will go out of print sooner rather than later.

Right? Is that the logic? I bumped my head yesterday.

Six Degrees of Seperation is one of the best albums -- ever!

Hey! This might mean that it won't have L.A. fees! The first martial Goldsmith score of the bunch to be like that.

    But I could be wrong.

Yeah, well... it was recorded in LA with a union orchestra... so I'm sure it will have LA fees to contend with....

But since it isn't Varese we might get a 45 min album out of this one.
