heh. Where to begin??? How about most of the biblical epic films from the 50s and 60s? (KING OF KINGS, JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE ROBE, etc...) A few others of note: GLORY, THE LAST VALLEY, YOUNG SHERLOCK HOLMES, FIRST KNIGHT, THE ABYSS, CONAN: THE BARBARIAN, THE MISSION, THE HUNT FOR RED OCTOBER, THE OMEN, 1492: CONQUEST OF PARADISE, CUTTHROAT ISLAND, ARMY OF DARKNESS, THE VIKINGS, ALEXANDER NEVSKY, LORD OF THE RINGS: THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING, and many many more.

Williams' CALL OF THE CHAMPIONS on the American Journey CD features 350 very vocal members of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir....love to play this track very loud, stand on my bed, and pretend I'm skiing down an ungodly mountain

Oh, and Joel McNeely's SHADOWS OF THE EMPIRE features a large choir that outnumbers the orchestra, oh about 5 to 1.

I think he used, eh around 9000 singers?

Herrmann & Newman:THE EGYPTIAN,Tiomkin:LAND OF THE PHARAOHS,Prokofiev:IVAN THE TERRIBLE,Goldenthal:FINAL FANTASY. Sir if you like chorus then you should listen to the opera choruses of Wagner,Verdi,Puccini and the cantatas of Berlioz,Howells,Vaughan Williams and Rachmaninov. And check out Vangelis:MYTHODEA,it is awesome.

    There's too many, really...

Some recent ones include LotR, as Dan said, and some of JNH's choral work near the end of Atlantis is magnificent.

The Time Machine also has some wicked choral bits.

One that I've been thinking about recently is Mancina's Twister. But almost everything by Zimmer features a pretty large chior. Pretty much the last 2-3 minutes of December 7th from Pearl Harbor is completely chior.

You know, there is a series called Cinema Choral Classics that is up to three volumes. It is a nice sampler and it would give you some nice directions to go in.

Well, it's not a "soundtrack", but it's used in MANY films. Carmina Burana. One of the great choral pieces.

I'm kicking myself for forgetting some of these scores mentioned, especially since they rank as some of my favorites, especially The Mission, The Lion King and Close Encounters.

Also, don't forget AI: Artificial Intelligence. Great solo soprano, but also some good choral work during the Ice Excavation.

Hey Philipp, why are you looking for scores with a chorus? Compiling a CD?

NP: Final Fantasy (to wake me up)

The following scores by Georges Delerue contain chorous and they are great:
TRUE CONFESSIONS Only available on LP, but there is a suite on "The London Sessions # 3)
    AGNES OF GOD
    BLACK ROBE

    John Barry:
    THE LAST VALLEY

    Ennio Morricone:
    THE MISSION
    EXORCIST II: THE HERETIC

    James Horner:
    BRAINSTORM

...and somebody did mention "NEEDFULL THINGS" by Patrick Doyle. There is only one thing I can say about it: Check it out. It is the best score he has composed. *****
