Well done, Gae, you finally got THE MUMMY by Franz Reizenstein! What do you think of it? Is there a bit of a fall-off in volume in Track 13 "The Burial Procession"? That's a highlight of the score, and it's an important longish piece at over 5 mins, but I always have to crank up the volume during it. You too?Got THE FILM MUSIC OF ARTHUR BLISS (composed by Arfur Blish; Beeb Phil conducted by Rumon Prawn-Cocktail, Chandos label). Good music - the rejected CAESAR AND CLEOPATRA, over half an hour of THINGS TO COME, and lots of Royal music for documentaries about palaces and things.

Graham, "The Mummy" is great, I love it! I haven't noticed any dropouts in it but then I dont know it that well yet. I do have a bit of a snigger at Chris Lee's intro voice-over though..."I'm SURE you (little people) will enjoy listening to "The Mummy" as MUCH as we enjoyed making it!!"...(lots of reverb and a Dracula-type authority in his voice)Timmer, I'm glad you've singled out "Slipstream" as the music is absolutely fantastic...beautiful melodies as well as some great punchy dramatic motifs from Mr. Bernstein. I'll do you the rest of the score sometime so long as you dont mind the odd bit of dialogue and sound effects coming in.
Gae NP Crescendo (Malcolm Williamson) I just had to do a recording of this one. I ended up with about 30 minutes of music, some with dialogue.
