Hey who has picked up the new 2cd set from Rhino. The sound is very good indeed for one of Rozsa's epic masterpieces. The Prelude is just grand, and the cue Tempest in Judea has some of the most volcanic action music in all film music.I highly recommend this cd in all its power and majesty, a must have. I hope that this production is a sucess. Thanks to the producer of this cd George Feltenstein we can finally rejoyce in this. Now Mr. Feltenstein please bring out the complete MUTINY ON THE BOUNTY.

I got it the day it came out and it's magnificent. The sound is full and rich and best of all there is no reason to keep the Sony disc whatsoever because the mythical "alternate Prelude" that takes up the "Prelude" on that CD is really the "Sermon On The Mount" cue.

This is a great release. The sound is good, unlike the old Sony release which suffered from horrible distortion.posted 03-12-2002 03:20 PM PT (US)

There is a copy of KING OF KINGS being auctioned on Ebay that's a cut-out. Why would there be cut-outs already?
