    Hey,

Does anyone else watch this show? I think the music is fun and needs a release. The best new series this year EASY!

Friends, this is coming from a kid who makes sure he never misses an episode of Dawson's Creek...

Think long and hard about that one.

AWESOME show... I can't believe it hasn't been talked about untill now... 24 showcases some of the best production for a television I have ever seen... the characters are incredibly-and surprisingly-engaging... the plot well written, and the tension incredible. Oh yeah, the music is great too- it changes from episode to episode, rather then rehashing the same themes with every show. Good use of synths... very media-ventures sounding. Anyways, just wanted to chime in with my 2 cents here...

Yeah, 24 is a delightful surprise. I've never been a fan of Keifer Sutherland or his father, but he does a good job with this one. Too bad the producers couldn't find somebody better to play his wife. (I'm not real impressed with her.)

Alias, on ABC at 9pm Sunday, is another new show this season that I thought was pretty good.

Who's the composer? I saw this show the other day on FX and it rocks!!! Got my interest the whole way through. It's rare. The music should get a release, that's true.

This is easily the best show I have seen in years. I usually can't get myself in front of a TV regularly, but this one got me from the first second. Taught story telling, good production values...oh yeah, and good music. I can't remember another show where I'm upset when the hour is up...crap...gotta wait till Tuesday.

But no...I don't like the show.

Not to turn this into a religious debate, but truth be known, while I don't watch 7th Heaven regularly (at all), I do like it for its solid Christian values, yes. Something most shows seem to be missing these days...

    Nice try though, Jason.

24 has a couple of solid Christian values, yes indeedy. For example, Keifer Sutherland loves his wife and daughter. And he loves that other little chippie that he works with...

    Hehehe Boba,

Lighten up Jeron, it was a joke, and had nothing to do with religious values...

All I'm saying is that as bad as Dawson's Creek is, 7th Heaven is worse!

Just hold your pants on. I got a hunch that the same nice peple who brought us Le Fem NAkita and The PRetender will have this out by year's end.

Though there are cues that occasionally stand out, I felt the series never quite produced scores up to scratch after the first episode of the first season, where a variety of temp pieces found their way into the final version of the episode. Part of the problem I suspect is the resources Callery has to work with - blaring synths never did that much for me.

Getting back to the music...Sean Callery is doing a great job! His music really gives the show a unique feel and sound. So much more than the usual musical wallpaper we get on most shows, even the good ones. Some of the best TV scoring since STEWART COPELAND'S great work on the EQUALIZER. Love to have some of Callery's music for Season Three on CD. VARESE SARABANDE are you listening?

Tonight's finale eps. featured the best work that Callery has done for the series.

I agree Ryan...the last 5-minutes had some very moving stuff, especially for a TV show.

Gasp...I need to wait seven months for more 24...damn!!!

Well, it's interesting, since I have liked much of Callery's work on 24, some of it can be quite melodic, engaging and moving. However, it often seems to just be marking time with repeated loops and synth drones noodling away in the background. Works great in context but not so much on CD, I would figure. Still, there is enough good stuff from all 3 seasons for at least 1 CD!
