Well, just happened to catch this film on late night cable the other night, and I forgot how terrific Zimmers score is too this film... so I popped in the soundtrack to listen again, and it was like a visit from an old friend... ever have that? I forgot how much I enjoyed the score... except for one thing...
It is too short!
I really wish there was more score... his themes are so great... and the soundscape he creates with the music are so stylistic. NO ONE can do a Zimmer score like Zimmer... I wish he would create scores like his earlier works. So I want to make the soundtrack longer.... I noticed there is an Enya song in the- African Storms. For the longest time I thought Zimmer had composed that piece... the song fits seemlessly with Zimmers score. Anyone else have any ideas about what I could add to a "delux" treatment to the soundtrack??
Anyone else with thoughts about the score??

Great early 90s score by Hans. Regarding Henry is great in the same vein. Now, I wish that I can somehow get the complete RainMan, which is like the granddaddy of Zimmer early electronic scores. A World Apart also.

I would recommend Driving Miss Daisy, Renaissance Man, and I'll Do Anything (all of which are frequently attainable through eBay) if you enjoyed Green Card. You're right that the score was short, but you should be thankful that it's not as short as Driving Miss Daisy. These scores along with the aforementioned ones by HadrianD, and even to some extent Days of Thunder (though a bit more action-oriented) falls under Zimmer's electronic era.Like HadrianD, I too wish I could get my hands on the complete Rain Man--the closest of which sounds like A World Apart (a conglomeration of Rain Man and Days of Thunder).
However, for scores similar to Green Card in the "neo-electronic era" I suggest Nine Months and Beyond Rangoon.
